I cannot find one until I ran across your blog. I have both Imperial & Mt. White held (along with a quartzite, Cristallo) held for me and must decide. I could not get a sample of our exact Mt. White, but I'm worried the veining could be a very dark green, which I cannot use. The Imperial was to die for, muted soft colors, but much higher in price. I will beg & plead (and pay the difference myself) for Imperial, but want to make sure its worth the difference. Lighting inside warehouse was not the best, so I may ask them to take the slabs outside, if they will. Do you have a flickr account or pics posted anywhere else on this site? I have scoured GW reading till my eyes are buggy. Now I have to decide. I appreciate your help in any way. I know it depends on the particular slab as to the color, just wondering your opinion. You've probably already chosen your counter material, but just in case, here are my belated thoughts.

The Danby marble has performed beautifully! Our kitchen is not huge so although it is not the main prep area, it's used daily for prepping. It has not stained, despite my leaving drips of random stuff on it for hours. Sometimes...gulp...overnight. The only major etch came from leaving lemon juice puddled on the counter overnight (a cocktail party). That etch came out with barkeeper's friend.

I absolutely love my Danby. Its texture and look is gorgeous. It's still as beautiful, if not more so, as the day it was installed. I currently have an event I'm prepping for, but I'll try to take some photos soon.Gena @ A Bluebonnet in Beantownhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13612056865987770135noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6921892265876028039.post-54500761024362460552012-03-08T20:22:37.352-05:002012-03-08T20:22:37.352-05:00I'm so glad you enjoyed the roast! My blog has been sadly neglected lately.

Yes, the cabinets were sprayed, and no, I can't remember off the top of my head how many gallons were used. An F&B stockist should be able to help you. F&B is also very communicative and helpful if you email them. We did not use F&B primer.

I absolutely love my F&B paint. The color is cheery, but subtle and not muddy. Now that it has cured, it is unbelievably tough. We're messy, love to cook, love to entertain, and have hordes of kids running through our house. I've scrubbed many splotches of mystery sauce off my cabinets, and they get clean remarkably easily.

One thing to note: F&B colors seem to vary according a lot according to light conditions. It's well worth buying a sample or samples, painting a moveable swatch, and moving it about your room when picking a color.

Best of luck on your kitchen renovation!
GenaGena @ A Bluebonnet in Beantownhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13612056865987770135noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6921892265876028039.post-77899049956953902092011-12-12T09:48:19.356-05:002011-12-12T09:48:19.356-05:00Thanks so much, guys!
